SITE INSTALLATION

METRIX has factory trained teams capable of performing site installation services of all our products. Additionally, we provide technical support and advice to support our clients who wish to undertake installation themselves.

METRIX products are modular in design and can be assembled onsite with a minimum amount of time and resources required.

 

Site Testing and Commissioning

There is no substitute for Testing and commissioning services provided by factory trained engineers and technicians. METRIX personnel can perform the full range of electrical testing and commissioning services for all our products to the highest standards.

We are proud to support the infrastructure growth of Dubai and supply services to the key clients of progress with stringent professional service levels including, DEWA, Dubai Airports and DP World.

 

Maintenance

Electrical products can face challenges operating in the extremes of weather in this region. Metrix products are specifically designed for many years of service in the local climatic conditions.

From our manufacturing facility in Sharjah we can offer factory trained service personnel to maintain our entire product range. Regular and professional service and maintenance ensures continued reliability and reduce downtime throughout the entire life of the products.

We can also offer our customers services to maintain and or repair electrical products from other manufactures thus helping our customers benefit by extending the serviceable life of their electrical assets.

Functional tests and approvals are also carried out by our team after assembly – with state-of-the-art measuring technology. Our in-house service department supports you throughout the entire life cycle of your plant, provides immediate help and competent advice for rapid troubleshooting. Power Quality Survey

The amount and quality of power determines how well a business can operate. If power fluctuates or drops out this ultimately results in a break in operation, which means production can completely halt. It may also increase health and safety risks. This is why METRIX offer a power quality survey in which we will come to your site and conduct a 7-day survey of the quality and quantity of power that comes into your building and machinery.

Following on from this we will provide recommendations or install mitigation equipment to harmonise the power that is coming in. By doing so not only will you increase productivity, extend the life of your equipment but also improve the health and safety of your facility. 

PROFIBUS Network Health Checks

PROFIBUS Network Health Checks from METRIX
PROFIBUS can make or break a facility. If it is not installed correctly the effects can be wide reaching and damaging. Due to the experience and skills of the team here at Saftronics we are able to offer PROFIBUS network health checks.

 Our engineers are fully trained and accredited so they are able to study and analyse complete networks. 

We will help identify any underlying issues, including slow or intermittent performance as well as checking for reflections, and then offer a remedy, allowing your facility to operate as it should

Reverse Engineering

METRIX have carried out reverse engineering for almost as long as we’ve been building Motor Control Centres, Control Panels and LV Switchboards. Given the expertise within our team it makes sense for us to offer this service out to clients. We understand paperwork is often lost, damaged or simply not kept up to date. Throw in a few staff changes and it is easy to see how organisations lose track of how exactly a machine operates.

The team from METRIX will speak with your in-house operators to find out exactly how your asset works. We will then extract the PLC, whether block or logic, and reverse engineer it to determine the processes it follows. If needed we can then re-write the documentation, ensuring that it is up to date with current standards.

 

Consultancy

METRIX has been at the forefront of Motor Control Centre manufacturing since 2004.We have worked on some huge projects along with some very small ones. We push the skills and knowledge of our team constantly and make sure that we are at the cutting edge of this industry. This means that we are in the ideal position to provide consultative services. 

We can advise on what you may need from your MCC, provide provisional or typical schematic designs and help with budget costs. 

We are also perfectly equipped to consult on digitalisation and making your facility Industry 4.0 ready. Our consultative services come with no obligation.

Asset Condition Survey

With our asset condition survey a team of engineers from Saftronics and Metrix will attend your site and assess the condition and functionality of your MCC or low voltage switchboard. We will compare your asset to the standards to which it was originally built, as well as how it measures up against current standards, and make recommendations accordingly. As well as looking at the overall condition of the unit, we will look for foreign bodies and the condition of the casework. We will also carry out thermographic monitoring to determine any future risks. 

Modifications, Maintenance & Fault Finding

METRIX have been in operation since 2004, and some of our team have been with us since the beginning. We pride ourselves on the skills and knowledge of our team and constantly push to make sure that we are at the cutting edge of MCC manufacturing. With this said, due to the knowledge and capabilities we have in-house we are able to offer a consultative fault-finding service.If your MCC, Low Voltage Switchboard or control panel is not operating as it should we are equipped to help find the fault and offer ideal solutions.

SCADA Maintenance

SCADA platforms, like any other software or hardware system, become dated and obsolete in time. Service packs stop being available and upgrades make older platforms unserviceable. The team here at Saftronics and Metrix can look into your SCADA platform and advise on how to move forward. This is a no obligation service and can be purely advisory, or we can carry out the work on your behalf by updating hardware and software as they become available.

Asset Installation

There are occasions where the original builder of an asset cannot install it on site – and this is where we can help. Our team of fully trained installation engineers can attend any location and install an MCC, LV panel or control panel, whether we built it or not. As well as this we can re-locate an existing MCC from site to site if needed and we also have the ability to test the asset on your behalf if required.
